The Georgia Master Teacher Leadership Institute in 2011 provided one-day, high quality professional learning sessions focusing on significant and relevant topics that build upon the leadership skills of Georgia Master Teachers. Each session was offered in regional locations on subsequent days and presented by the same national expert. The goal for the program was to provide a practical and thought provoking look at what constitutes mastery and successful assessment in the differentiated classroom. Participants focused on grading issues encountered when differentiating for students’ diverse needs presented by Rick Wormeli.
